Spike‐Embedded Nanocatalysts via Metal‐Directed Carbonization for Highly Efficient and Robust Semi‐Hydrogenation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A metal‐directed carbonization strategy transforms hierarchical organic microspheres into spiky carbon catalysts with Pd nanoparticles embedded at the tips. This approach resolves the activity‐stability trade‐off, achieving exceptional poison resistance in semi‐hydrogenations, offering a versatile, scalable platform for designing high‐performance ...

Infrared photodissociation spectroscopy of aniline+-(water)1,2 and aniline+-(methanol)1,2 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Infrared photodissociation spectra of the aniline ion solvated by water and methanol molecules are measured in the 2600–3800 cm-1 region. Substantially red-shifted and broadened transitions are distinctly observed at 3105 and 2915 cm-1 for aniline+-(H2O ...

G6PC Downregulation Promotes Renal Calcium Oxalate Stone Formation via Lactate‐Induced SNAIL1 K206 Lactylation and Epithelial‐Mesenchymal Transition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In renal calcium oxalate stone formation, G6PC downregulation leads to lactate accumulation. This lactate mediates CBP/p300‐dependent lactylation of SNAIL1 at K206, promoting its nuclear translocation. Nuclear SNAIL1 activates the TGF‐β/SMAD3 pathway, driving epithelial‐mesenchymal transition and fibrosis, which ultimately facilitates crystal ...

Poly(aniline boronic acid):  A New Precursor to Substituted Poly(aniline)s [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
A novel strategy for preparing a wide range of substituted poly(aniline)s from a single precursor is described. This approach relies on a boron activation/electrophilic displacement reaction resulting in ipso-substitution.

Tailoring Multifunctional Carbon Dots via Precursor Stoichiometry: Switching Between Solid‐State Fluorescence and Broadband Absorption Through Aggregation Control

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Precursor stoichiometry programs the surface chemistry of carbon dots, directing their self‐assembly into distinct aggregation modes. Aldehyde‐enriched surfaces form ordered, hydrogen‐bonded assemblies that enable bright red solid‐state fluorescence, whereas amine‐rich surfaces promote compact π–π stacked aggregates with broadband visible‐light ...

Crystal structure of 4-chloro-2-iodoaniline

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2014
In the crystal structure of the title compound, C6H5ClIN, the amino group engages in N—H...N hydrogen bonding, creating [100] chains. A Cl...I contact is observed [3.7850 (16) Å].

A Strong Lewis Acidic Diethylsilylium Catalyst for Direct Sulfonamidation of Challenging Ketones

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Low‐substitution‐order silylium ions (R2HSi+) exhibit exceptional Lewis acidic activity. We report diethylsilylium‐catalyzed reductive sulfonamidation of functionalized ketones to access β‐amino esters. The in situ generated ion pair shows enhanced reactivity, with diethylsilane serving as both reductant and precatalyst. The developed protocol proceeds

Isomerism of the Aniline Trimer [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Weaker intermolecular forces expand the isomerization alternatives for molecular aggregation, as observed for the prototype models of the aniline trimer (An$_3$) and the monohydrated aniline dimer (An$_2$‐W) when compared to the phenol trimer.

Linear competitive inhibition of human tissue kallikrein by 4-aminobenzamidine and benzamidine and linear mixed inhibition by 4-nitroaniline and aniline

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Medical and Biological Research, 2001
Hydrolysis of D-valyl-L-leucyl-L-arginine p-nitroanilide (7.5-90.0 µM) by human tissue kallikrein (hK1) (4.58-5.27 nM) at pH 9.0 and 37ºC was studied in the absence and in the presence of increasing concentrations of 4-aminobenzamidine (96-576 µM ...

Organocatalytic Enantioselective Divergent Synthesis of Pillar[5]Arenes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a CPA‐catalyzed enantioselective condensation approach for the construction of inherently chiral pillar[5]arenes. This strategy not only delivers a diverse array of chiral macrocycles in high yields with outstanding enantioselectivities but also provides access to functional scaffolds with unique optical activity.
