The wild animal as a research animal

Hyaline arteriolosclerosis in wild animals

Abstract Hyaline arteriolosclerosis is found in wild animals, but is less common and less severe than in man. Increasing age seems to be an important aetiological factor in the development of hyaline arteriolosclerosis, but no sex difference was found. The numbers studied are too small for any statistically significant conclusions to be drawn.
