4‐Amino‐1‐Butyl‐1,2,4‐Triazolium Dinitramide – Synthesis, Characterization and Combustion of a Low‐Temperature Dinitramide‐Based Energetic Ionic Liquid (EIL)

open access: yesPropellants, Explosives, Pyrotechnics, Volume 47, Issue 7, July 2022., 2022
Abstract Salts being liquid below 100 °C are defined as ionic liquids. Due to their unique properties, they are attracting increasing interest and are also being investigated in the field of energetic materials. Combining nitrogen‐rich cations and oxygen‐rich anions, it is possible to obtain energetic ionic liquids (EILs).

Defect Nanostructure and its Impact on Magnetism of α‐Cr2O3 Thin Films

open access: yesSmall, Volume 18, Issue 17, April 27, 2022., 2022
The defect nanostructure of α‐Cr2O3 relying on positron annihilation spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy is studied. These structural data are correlated with the magnetotransport spin Hall magnetoresistance measurements and direct imaging of antiferromagnetic domains using nitrogen‐vacancy scanning magnetometry.

Varying the sustained release of BMP‐2 from chitosan nanogel‐functionalized polycaprolactone fiber mats by different polycaprolactone surface modifications

open access: yesJournal of Biomedical Materials Research Part A, Volume 109, Issue 5, Page 600-614, May 2021., 2021
Abstract Polycaprolactone (PCL) fiber mats with different surface modifications were functionalized with a chitosan nanogel coating to attach the growth factor human bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP‐2). Three different hydrophilic surface modifications were compared with regard to the binding and in vitro release of BMP‐2.

Interviews with patients aged 6–17 years provide valuable insights for physicians who need to deliver an epilepsy diagnosis

open access: yesActa Paediatrica, Volume 110, Issue 5, Page 1556-1561, May 2021., 2021
Abstract Aim Meeting children's needs when communicating an epilepsy diagnosis can have a large impact on their treatment. We investigated children's experiences and wishes concerning their first conversation about epilepsy. Methods This prospective study was performed in the neuropaediatric departments of two German university hospitals from 2 October

Phase Selection in Mn–Si Alloys by Fast Solid‐State Reaction with Enhanced Skyrmion Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 31, Issue 15, April 8, 2021., 2021
Transient solidification induced by millisecond flash lamp annealing provides a novel method to separate the parasitic phase in MnSi thin films. It also offers possibilities to achieve a much broader temperature‐ and field‐window for stabilizing magnetic skyrmions, which is important for exploring the skyrmions dynamic, non‐Fermi liquid phase, or ...
