Trace amounts of perfluoro‐1‐butanesulfonyl fluoride enables the regulation of the Zn/electrolyte interface by the generated zincophilic ─SO3H groups with long hydrophobic ─CF2 tails, which adsorb strongly onto the Zn surface, displace water molecules from the inner Helmholtz plane, and reconstruct the electrical double‐layer structure.

Anionic Gemini Surfactants: A Distinct Class of Surfactants
Anionic gemini surfactants are a new class of surfactants that comprise of two anionic head groups and two hydrophobic tails separated by a spacer group. Anionic gemini surfactants have low cmc values and show extraordinary surface activity. These surfactants have good water solubility and their ability to form micelles and lowering surface tension ...

Two isomorphic COFs were synthesized and compared, including an amphoteric COF (SQ‐TAPT) and a neutral COF (PDA‐TAPT). The ionic bonds in SQ‐TAPT introduce more Born effective charges, thereby enhancing its ionic displacement polarization. Experimental and theoretical calculations demonstrated that SQ‐TAPT exhibited higher polarity and stronger ...

Triblock Polymer Engineering Enables Hydration‐Rich, High‐Performance, Fouling‐Resistant Interfaces
A molecularly engineered triblock polymer (PHZ) rapidly reorganizes into a hydration‐rich interfacial layer on diverse surfaces, strongly suppressing hydrophobic attraction and fouling. The triblock polymer provides robust energy and steric barriers to oily foulants, enabling high‐performance antifouling at ultralow dosage.

Corn stalks (CS) were modified by a cationic surfactant, cetylpyridinium bromide (CPB), and used as an adsorbent (CS-CP) to remove anionic dyes [Acid Red (AR) and Acid Orange (AO)] from aqueous solutions.

Ultrathin 2D indium oxide memtransistors are reproducibly fabricated via a scalable liquid‐metal‐printing process under ambient, low‐temperature conditions. The devices achieve robust, gate‐tunable bipolar memristive switching with high switching ratios at a BEOL‐compatible maximum processing temperature of 300°C. Governed by trap‐controlled transport,

Amphiphile Adsorption on Rigid Polyelectrolytes
A theory is presented which quantitatively accounts for the cooperative adsorption of cationic surfactants to anionic polyelectrolytes. For high salt concentration we find that the critical adsorption concentration (CAC) is a bilinear function of the ...
