Characteristics of Anisometropic Patients with and without Strabismus
Objectives: To evaluate the risk factors for strabismus in patients with anisometropia by comparing degree of anisometropia, depth of amblyopia, and binocular visual function in anisometropic patients with and without strabismus.

Abstract Purpose Efficiency of visual screening using visual acuity measurement (VAM) in children screened at 45 months of age (45 m) and screened at both 36 months of age (36 m) and 45 m was investigated by determining failure, repeat and referral rates and amblyopia detection.

Higher-Order Aberrations and Anisometropia
Myopia incidence is increasing around the world. Myopization is considered to be caused by a variety of factors. One consideration is whether higher-order aberrations (HOA) influence myopization. More knowledge of optics in anisometropic eyes might give further insight into the development of refractive error. To analyze the possible influence of HOA on

Pattern Electroretinography Changes in Amblyopic Adults After Theta Burst Stimulation
Pattern electroretinogram was performed pre‐ and post‐cTBS in amblyopes and controls. Before stimulation, amblyopic and fellow eyes differed from normal eyes; after cTBS, these differences were no longer observed. ABSTRACT Theta burst stimulation (TBS) has shown promise in neuromodulation for amblyopic patients.

Opinions on Amblyopia Treatment in Microtropia – A Questionnaire Study of Orthoptists in Scandinavia
Background: Microtropia is a small angle strabismus of less than or equal to ten prism diopters. It often co-exists with anisometropia, and patients may require amblyopia treatment.

Abstract Introduction This study evaluated the QuickSee autorefractor for measurement of the accommodative response in a cohort of children without significant ametropia, and compared the findings to those determined using the gold‐standard Shin‐Nippon device. Methods Children aged 5–7 years were recruited.

The Waterloo Differential Acuity Test (WatDAT)—Testability and normative data
Abstract Purpose To investigate the testability of the WatDAT for measuring recognition visual acuity (VA) in children aged between 18 to 48 months, report preliminary age‐related data and compare with two commercially available matching tests. Methods A total of 57 children (18.5–45.8 months) attended for two sessions.

Abstract Objective Oculomotor deficits in vergence and accommodation can arise in paediatric patients with persistent concussion symptoms, although the profile is not well established. This study aimed to describe the frequency of these deficits in persistently symptomatic concussed paediatric patients and identify effective screening tools.
