Utilizing the quantized Huygens-Fresnel principle, we study the effects of anisotropic non-Kolmogorov turbulence on the average polarizability of quantization Bessel-Gaussian Schell-model (BGSM) photon beams. We find that the average polarizability has a weak dependence on the outer scale.

In the horizontal atmospheric turbulent channel of optical wireless communication (OWC), anisotropy has been proved to be one of essential properties. This paper investigates the long term beam spread and the beam wander of Gaussian beam based on the generalized anisotropic non-Kolmogorov power spectrum, where all the influence of the anisotropy of ...

The spectral properties of the structural function of atmospheric turbulence can differ in the vertical and horizontal directions. Taking into account the influence of this anisotropy on the signal along the direction of propagation at an angle ${\gamma }$ , to the horizon, can be useful in modeling and interpreting the results of measurements ...

Mathematical models for the superimposed orbital angular momentum (OAM) mode of multiple Hankel–Bessel (HB) beams in anisotropic non-Kolmogorov turbulence are developed. The effects of anisotropic turbulence and source parameters on the mode detection spectrum of the superimposed OAM mode are analyzed.

Beam wander effects have been discussed as the main reason for the failure of the first-order Rytov approximation to properly predict the scintillation index of Gaussian beam through the atmospheric turbulent channel of optical wireless communication. This paper investigates the beam wander effects on scintillation theory of Gaussian beam based on the ...
