Anisotropic Two-Microlocal Spaces and Regularity
We define D-u-anisotropic two-microlocal spaces by decay conditions on anisotropic wavelet coefficients on any D-u-anisotropic wavelet basis of L2(Rd). We prove that these spaces allow the characterizing of pointwise anisotropic Hölder regularity.

Local Regularity Results for Minima of Anisotropic Functionals and Solutions of Anisotropic Equations [PDF]
This paper gives some local regularity results for minima of anisotropic functionals I(u;Ω)=∫Ωf(x,u,Du)dx, u∈Wloc1,qi(Ω) and for solutions of anisotropic equations −divðÂ’œ(x,u,Du)=-∑i=1N(∂f/∂

Polarization-Dependent Anisotropy of LIPSSs' Morphology Evolution on a Single-Crystal Silicon Surface. [PDF]
Utilizing the principle of laser-induced periodic surface structures (LIPSSs), this research delves into the morphological evolution of single-crystal silicon surfaces irradiated by a near-infrared picosecond laser through a scanning mode.

Moments of the Anisotropic Regularized κ-distributions [PDF]
Abstract For collisionless (or collision-poor) plasma populations, which are well described by the κ-distribution functions (also known as the Kappa or Lorentzian power-laws), a macroscopic interpretation has remained largely questionable, especially because of the diverging moments of these distributions.

In this article, we study the regularity criteria of the weak solutions to the Boussinesq equations involving the horizontal component of velocity or the horizontal derivatives of the two components of velocity in anisotropic Lorentz spaces.

Regularity of anisotropic refinable functions [PDF]
This paper presents a detailed regularity analysis of anisotropic wavelet frames and subdivision. In the univariate setting, the smoothness of wavelet frames and subdivision is well understood by means of the matrix approach. In the multivariate setting, this approach has been extended only to the special case of isotropic refinement with the dilation ...

On the Regularity of Non-scattering Anisotropic Inhomogeneities
In this paper we examine necessary conditions for an anisotropic inhomogeneous medium to be non-scattering at a single wave number and for a single incident field. These conditions are expressed in terms of the regularity of the boundary of the inhomogeneity.

Stable Anisotropic Regularization
Given the success of Large Language Models (LLMs), there has been considerable interest in studying the properties of model activations. The literature overwhelmingly agrees that LLM representations are dominated by a few "outlier dimensions" with exceedingly high variance and magnitude.

Regularity estimates for fractional orthotropic p-Laplacians of mixed order
We study robust regularity estimates for a class of nonlinear integro-differential operators with anisotropic and singular kernels. In this paper, we prove a Sobolev-type inequality, a weak Harnack inequality, and a local Hölder estimate.

Grain modeling and finite element simulation of damage evolution for AA5182-O aluminum alloy sheet
The evolution of crystal damage in rolled AA5182-O aluminum alloy sheet was studied by experiment and finite element simulation in this paper. Grain size characteristic on rolling anisotropy was determined by electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) test ...
