Existence and regularity of solutions for a singular anisotropic $(p,q)$-Laplacian with variable exponent

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations
In this paper, we investigate the existence and regularity of positive solutions for certain singular problems that involve an anisotropic $\left(p,q\right)$-Laplacian-type operator and a singular term with a variable exponent, under zero Dirichlet ...

3D Printed Omniphobic Slippery Liquid Infused Porous Surfaces for Low Surface Tension Repellency

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A 3D printing strategy fabricates omniphobic slippery liquid‐infused porous structures with lubricant reservoirs and interconnected microchannels. A post‐printing surface treatment modifies the porous surface to ensure compatibility with the infused fluorinated lubricant.

Metal‐Metal‐π Interaction: A Pathway to Construct Organic–Inorganic Excited‐State and Supramolecular Assembly

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
An organic–inorganic mixed excited state is designed and demonstrated by combining the metal–metal and π–π interactions within a supramolecular Pt2–pyrene assembly. Directional orbital overlap between the Pt and carbon atoms gives rise to a long‐lived triplet emission, strong emission polarization, exciton–exciton annihilation, and efficient exciton ...

Three Solutions for a Double-Phase Variable-Exponent Kirchhoff Problem

open access: yesMathematics
In this article, we study a double-phase variable-exponent Kirchhoff problem and show the existence of at least three solutions. The proposed model, as a generalization of the Kirchhoff equation, is interesting since it is driven by a double-phase ...

Origami‐Inspired Structural Design for Aquatic‐Terrestrial Amphibious Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a lightweight amphibious origami robot actuated by a single shape memory alloy wire. A rigid foldable origami structure with displacement amplification enables efficient terrestrial crawling and aquatic swimming. The addition of fan‐shaped units allows controllable turning in both environments.

Regular black holes from Kiselev anisotropic fluid

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal C
Abstract In this paper, we investigate a generalization of Kiselev black holes by introducing a varying equation-of-state parameter for the anisotropic fluid surrounding the black hole. We extend this model by allowing w in the expression $$p_t(r)/\rho (r) = (3w + 1)/2$$

Durability of Soft Pneumatic Actuators: A Review and Benchmarking Protocol

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Lack of durability is a key challenge hindering the broad scale adoption of soft pneumatic actuators (SPAs) in automation industries. This review provides a comprehensive overview of existing research on SPA durability, introduces a standardized durability benchmarking protocol to consolidate the testing of SPAs, and outlines promising directions for ...

Conformable Microelectrode Arrays Integrated with a Scoop‐Shaped Slide‐Well for Dynamic Electrophysiological Profiling of Patient‐Derived Cardiac Organoids

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A flexible, ultrathin multi‐channel microelectrode array (MEA) conformally integrated onto a curved slide‐well enables stable electrical interfacing with 3D cardiac organoids. The geometry‐guided self‐alignment allows simultaneous recording of extracellular field potentials and contractile motion from irregular, beating tissues.
