Coupling effects among elementary polarization properties
In this work, we propose that there exist coupling effects among birefringence, dichroism and off-diagonal depolarization parameters of differential Mueller matrix of random anisotropic media.

Weak anisotropic impurity scattering in unconventional superconductors
The effect of weak anisotropic (momentum-dependent) impurity scattering in unconventional superconductors has been investigated. It is shown that the anisotropic scattering can lead either to a small reduction or a small enhancement of the isotropic pair-

Monte Carlo simulations of a diffusive shock with multiple scattering angular distributions
We independently develop a simulation code following the previous dynamical Monte Carlo simulation of the diffusive shock acceleration under the isotropic scattering law during the scattering process, and the same results are obtained.

Anisotropic Impurity-States, Quasiparticle Scattering and Nematic Transport in Underdoped Ca(Fe1-xCox)2As2 [PDF]
Iron-based high temperature superconductivity develops when the `parent' antiferromagnetic/orthorhombic phase is suppressed, typically by introduction of dopant atoms.

Glymphatic Dysfunction Reflects Post‐Concussion Symptoms: Changes Within 1 Month and After 3 Months
ABSTRACT Objective Mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) may alter glymphatic function; however, its progression and variability remain obscure. This study examined glymphatic function following mTBI within 1 month and after 3 months post‐injury to determine whether variations in glymphatic function are associated with post‐traumatic symptom severity ...

Anisotropic scattering of Bogoliubov excitations [PDF]
We consider elementary excitations of an interacting Bose-Einstein condensate in the mean-field framework. As a building block for understanding the dynamics of systems comprising interaction and disorder, we study the scattering of Bogoliubov excitations by a single external impurity potential.

Dynamic Precipitation during High‐Pressure Torsion of a Magnesium–Manganese Alloy
An ultrafine‐grained alloy is produced by high‐pressure torsion of solutionized Mg–1.35 wt% Mn. Precipitation of nanometer‐scale Mn particles during deformation provides pinning sites. This prevents the formation of a bimodal grain structure and results in a finer grain size than for pure Mg.

Fast Calculation of Scattering in Planar Uniaxial Anisotropic Multilayers
In this paper, the generalized recursive formulations of the finite difference time domain (FDTD) for updating the electric and magnetic fields in the multi-layer anisotropic media are derived with a uniaxial perfectly matched layer.
