Charge screening and magnetic anisotropy in RCo5 compounds [PDF]
An analysis of magnetic anisotropy in RCo5 compounds is performed with account of screening of ion point charges by conduction electrons. A crucial role of non-uniform distribution of screening electrons (the terms containing derivatives of charge density) is demonstrated.

Abstract Purpose This study compares the dosimetric accuracy of deep‐learning‐based MR synthetic CT (sCT) in brain radiotherapy between the Analytical Anisotropic Algorithm (AAA) and AcurosXB (AXB). Additionally, it proposes a novel metric to predict the dosimetric accuracy of sCT for individual post‐surgical brain cases.

Magnetic anisotropy of La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 nanopowders [PDF]
The magnetic anisotropy of La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 nanopowders was measured as a function of temperature by the modified singular point detection technique. In this method singularities indicating the anisotropy field were determined analyzing ac susceptibility data. The observed relationship between temperature dependence of anisotropy constant and temperature

Abstract Purpose Single‐isocenter multitarget (SIMT) radiosurgery has become increasingly popular as advancement in planning and delivery systems have made this approach clinically viable. With targets varying in size and distance from isocenter, SIMT plans are highly complex with dynamic multileaf collimator (MLC) motion.

Abstract Background To assess the dose‐sparing capabilities of a yaw‐limited volumetric modulated arc therapy (YL_VMAT) beam setup for adjacent organs at risk (OAR) in comparison with 3D‐conventional radiation therapy (3D‐CRT), intensity‐modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and conventional VMAT for radiation therapy in left‐sided breast cancer patients.

Abstract Purpose This study quantitatively evaluates bladder changes and their dosimetric impact during the on‐couch adaptive process on a commercial CBCT‐based online adaptive radiotherapy (CT‐gART) platform. Methods Data from 183 fractions of ten patients receiving online ART for pelvic cancers were analyzed retrospectively.

Magnetic anisotropy dependence of the energy of oriented thick ferromagnetic films [PDF]
Heisenberg Hamiltonian was employed to describe the variation of energy of thick ferromagnetic films with second and fourth order anisotropies. At angle of 1.36 degrees and anisotropies of 1.25, energy is minimum for thick film of sc(001) with 1000 layers.

ANISOTROPY OF COSMIC ACCELERATION [PDF]
In this paper, we study the anisotropy of cosmic acceleration by dividing the Union2 Type Ia supernova (SNIa) dataset into 12 subsets according to their positions in Galactic coordinate system. In each region, we derive the deceleration parameter q0 as the diagnostic to quantify the anisotropy level in the corresponding direction, and construct q0 ...

Abstract Purpose This study evaluates the dosimetric and geometric precision of a virtual cone technique using CBCT‐based polymer gel dosimetry, enabling radiation delivery, and imaging readout within an identical spatial coordinate system. Methods We created a C# script for a virtual cone technique that generates a treatment plan with 10 gantry arcs ...
