This study explores the energy conversion in powder bed fusion of polymers using laser beam for polyamide 12 and polypropylene powders. It combines material and process data, using dimensionless parameters and numerical models, to enable the prediction of suitable printing parameters.

Renormalization of the tunnel splitting in a rotating nanomagnet
We study spin tunneling in a magnetic nanoparticle with biaxial anisotropy that is free to rotate about its anisotropy axis. Exact instanton of the coupled equations of motion is found that connects degenerate classical energy minima.

Anisotropic magnetoresistive and magnetic properties of La_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}CoO_{3-\delta} film
The magnetic and transport properties of La_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}CoO_{3-\delta} film grown on a LaAlO_3 substrate by pulsed-laser deposition are studied. The properties are found to be influenced by the magnetic anisotropy and inhomogeneity.
