Evolution of the pairing pseudogap in the spectral function with interplane anisotropy
We study the pairing pseudogap in the spectral function as a function of interplane coupling. The analytical expressions for the self-energy in the critical regime are obtained for any degree of anisotropy.

In this experimental study, the mechanical properties of additively manufactured Ti‐6Al‐4V lattice structures of different geometries are characterized using compression, four point bending and fatigue testing. While TPMS designs show superior fatigue resistance, SplitP and Honeycomb lattice structures combine high stiffness and strength. The resulting

New parameter for describing and analyzing the optical-anisotropic properties of biological tissues [PDF]
To characterize the degree of similarity inherent to parameters of the optically uniaxial birefringent protein-¯bril networks of biological tissues, a new parameter — complex degree of mutual anisotropy — has been o®ered.

Joint factor of basalt and its relationship with strength and deformation characteristics
The joint density, joint inclination angle and joint roughness are the three key factors that control the mechanical response of basalts. Based on the 3D printing technology, the uniaxial compression and interfacial shear tests are carried out to deeply ...

Large-angle Polarization of the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation and Reionization
We discuss the effect of matter reionization on the large-angular-scale anisotropy and polarization of the cosmic microwave background radiation (CMBR) in the standard CDM model.

The effect of stellar-mass black holes on the central kinematics of omega Cen: a cautionary tale for IMBH interpretations [PDF]
The search for intermediate-mass black holes (IMBHs) in the centre of globular clusters is often based on the observation of a central cusp in the surface brightness profile and a rise towards the centre in the velocity dispersion profiles.

Sub-degree CMB anisotropy from space. I. Sky coverage and sensitivity [PDF]
Decisive progress in cosmology is expected from a space mission dedicated to an extensive mapping of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) with high angular and temperature sensitivity. Based on the European Space Agency COBRAS/SAMBA mission concept, we have studied the attainable sensitivity and sky coverage taking into account the effect of solar ...
