Abstract Trade between Mesopotamia and the Indus Civilization is studied through the analysis of Early Dynastic III Period (2600–2350 BCE) carnelian beads from the site of Kish, Iraq. Morphological and technological features of the beads are compared with beads from the Indus region.

The construction of Ankara Palas, which comprises the subject matter of this thesis, started in 1924 as the most modern hotel of the newly founded capital city. The foundation of the hotel was laid by the Architect Mr. Vedat, then completed by architect Mr. Kemalettin, and was finally put into service in year 1928.

Adherence to e‐Diary reporting was investigated in a blended care setting among pollen allergic patients with heterogeneous cultural backgrounds. A stable ‘higher’ and a more variable ‘lower’ adherence cluster were identified. Early identification of lower adherence is possible and might inform early interventions to improve patient adherence.
