Morphological Study of Weber Type A Lateral Malleolar Fractures

open access: yesOrthopaedic Surgery, Volume 18, Issue 8, Page 1623-1630, August 2026.
We created a fracture map of 81 patients with Weber Type A lateral malleolar fractures and classified it into three types based on its relationship with the inferior tip of the fibula and fibular obscure tubercle, which is the bony landmark correlated with the anterior talofibular ligament and calcaneofibular ligament.

Exploring the Effectiveness of “Four‐Point” Configuration Cannulated Compression Screw Implantation Protocol for the Fixation of Pauwels Type III Femoral Neck Fractures in Adults

open access: yesOrthopaedic Surgery, Volume 18, Issue 8, Page 1734-1752, August 2026.
This experiment explored the biomechanical performance of ICCS + TCS in the fixation of Pauwels type III femoral neck fractures in young adults and results indicate that ICCS + TCS exhibit biomechanical properties similar to FNS in the treatment of P3FNFs while possessing stronger torsional stiffness and lower overall deformation.
