Experimental Characterization and Response Surface Modelling of Electrostatic Charge Dissipation on PET Insulators Under Controlled Thermo‐Hygrometric Conditions

open access: yesIET Science, Measurement &Technology, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This article experimentally investigates surface potential decay on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) insulators under controlled temperature and humidity, using corona charging and non‐contact electrostatic measurements to identify the roles of initial potential, polarity, thickness and thermo‐hygrometric conditions in charge dissipation.

Stability by Krasnoselskii's theorem in totally nonlinear neutral differential equations [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2013
In this paper we use fixed point methods to prove asymptotic stability results of the zero solution of a class of totally nonlinear neutral differential equations with functional delay. The study concerns \[x'(t)=a(t)x^3(t)+c(t)x'(t-r(t))+b(t)x^3(t-r(t))

Transport Connectivity and Urban Development: The Case of Africa (1880–2020)

open access: yesGeographical Analysis, Volume 58, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the interplay between population dynamics and transport connectivity in African municipalities from 1880 to 2020. Using an original historical dataset spanning African countries, we examine how proximity to railways and ports has shaped population dynamics over time.

N‐Nitrosodimethylamine as an Emerging Environmental Contaminant: Sources, Analytical Advances, and Ecotoxicological and Human Health Risks

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analytical Chemistry, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Over the last few years, N‐nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) has become a significant environmental contaminant with both anthropogenic and natural sources. The alarming profile of it can be explained by the fact that it is a genotoxic substance and easily spreads through the atmospheric and water systems. The production of NDMA takes place through a variety

Decoding Human Exposure to Toxic Metals: Linking Environmental Distribution to Health Outcomes Through Multivariate Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Environmental contamination by trace and heavy metals (THMs), driven by anthropogenic activities like industry, mining, and agriculture, poses a persistent global public health threat. These nondegradable contaminants lead to widespread human exposure via ingestion, inhalation, and dermal contact, causing diverse adverse health outcomes, including ...
