Electropulse-Driven Dislocation Evolution in Sub-10 nm Metallic Nanocrystals. [PDF]
Adv Sci (Weinh)Atomic‐scale TEM imaging reveals how nanosecond electropulses drive dislocation evolution in sub‐10 nm metallic nanocrystals. Enhanced electron scattering at structural heterogeneities nucleates dislocation loops and dipoles, which then repeatedly interact and annihilate, causing dislocation density fluctuations or structural disordering.
