Spectroelectrochemical Determination of Förster Radii for Triplet‐Polaron Quenching in Phosphorescent Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Phosphorescent OLEDs suffer from efficiency roll‐off due to triplet‐polaron quenching (TPQ). This study demonstrates for a large set of host‐guest combinations a spectroelectrochemical method to measure the absorption of charged molecules, enabling determining TPQ Förster radii (2.5–4 nm) from the spectral overlap.

Positron-Hydrogen Scattering, Annihilation, and Positronium Formation

open access: yesAtoms, 2016
In previous papers (Bhatia A.K. 2007, 2012) a hybrid theory for the scattering of electrons from a hydrogenic system was developed and applied to calculate scattering phase shifts, Feshbach resonances, and photoabsorption processes.

Search for right-handed neutrinos from dark matter annihilation with gamma-rays [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Several extensions of the Standard Model contain right-handed (sterile) neutrinos in the GeV-TeV mass range. Due to their mixing with the active neutrinos, they may give rise to novel effects in cosmology, neutrino physics, and collider searches.

Intramolecular Down‐ and Up‐Conversion in Dimeric Tetracene Complexes Centered via Platinum(II) and Palladium(II)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐tetracene dimeric complexes are synthesized through the pyridyl coordination to either Pt(II) or Pd(II). Photophysical properties are systematically compared as a function of the metal using steady‐state and time‐resolved spectroscopy. The Pt(II) dimer exhibits efficient intramolecular singlet fission and subsequent intramolecular up‐conversion ...

Sebuah Analisis Terhadap Problematika Ajaran Restorasi Berkaitan Dengan Konsep Bumi Baru

open access: yesDunamis: Jurnal Teologi dan Pendidikan Kristiani, 2018
Abstraks. The second coming of Christ is an event inalienable to mankind. In addition to declaring punishment for unbelievers, His second coming also fulfils the presence of a new heaven and earth in which the righteous will reign with Christ forever. Of

Identification and Reversible Optical Switching of NV+ Centers in Diamond

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
NV+ centers in diamond are predicted to coexist with NV0 and NV– centers, but direct experimental confirmation remains challenging. Using positron annihilation spectroscopy with in situ light illumination, a charge transition NV+/0 is observed at 1.234(8) eV.

Reflections of the West in Gu Cheng’s Life and Poems

open access: yesAsian Studies, 2012
Gu Cheng (1957–1993), a prominent member of the “Misty Poets”, lived the last part of his life in the West as he was exiled in 1989. So he stayed abroad separeted from his country and people and unable to cope with the western world.

Compositing Effect Leads to Extraordinary Performance in GeSe‐Based Thermoelectrics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Rhombohedral GeSe is rationally designed with (GeSe)0.9(AgBiTe2)0.1‐1.5 mol.% SnSe, achieving a peak ZT of 1.31 at 623 K. Forming a composite with SnSe establishes interfaces with strong phonon scattering and weak electron scattering. Multiscale defects lead to an ultra‐low lattice thermal conductivity (0.26 W m−1 K−1), approaching the amorphous limit.

Analysis of annihilation positron and electron and additional opportunities of the positron-emission tomography

open access: yesФизика волновых процессов и радиотехнические системы, 2014
The reasons of angular photon distribution occurrence at electron-positron annihilation are considered. It is shown, that angular photon distribution is consequence of Dopplers effect in the reference frame of the electron and positron mass center.
