Acetogenins from Annona muricata
Abstract Silica gel chromatography of the dichloromethane extract of the seeds of Annona muricata afforded annoreticuin-9-one (1), while the flesh of the fruit yielded cis-annoreticuin (2) and sabadelin (3). The structures of 1-3 were elucidated by extensive 1 D and 2D NMR spectroscopy and confirmed by mass spectrometry.
