Annual Variation of Growth Increment of Red Sea Bream Pagrus majar.
In order to examine the relationship between sea water temperature and annual growth of red sea bream caught in the waters around the Oosakikamishima Island in the middle of Seto Inland Sea, the body length was estimated when each annual ring was formed on a scale, then the calculated body length of each age group from 1980 to 1986 was compared.

This study exploits the plasticity of ASCs‐derived cartilage organoids which generate a perichondrial layer of MSCs when exposed to cyclic chondrogenic/proliferative cues. Using these organoids as building blocks, we develop (i) Phalange Shaped Tissue Engineered Cartilage (Pa‐TECs), recapitulating endochondral ossification suitable for the treatment of

Are the incremental lines in human cementum laid down annually?
A local Singaporean study of the presence of incremental lines in the cement of extracted teeth of 41 identity card-holding subjects is reported. The undecalcified roots of these teeth were sectioned transversely, some of which were stained with alizarin red. The lines observed were counted by one observer while blind to the actual ages of the subjects.

Screen gate‐based transistors are presented, enabling tunable analog sigmoid and Gaussian activations. The SA‐transistor improves MRI classification accuracy, while the GA‐transistor supports precise Gaussian kernel tuning for forecasting. Both functions are implemented in a single device, offering compact, energy‐efficient analog AI processing ...

Some considerations concerning the panel management in rubber tapping (Hevea brasiliensis) [PDF]
Research devoted to long term panel management deserved less efforts, mainly due to the long duration required for experimentation. The present study deals with the comparison of two panel management strategies on nine clones tapped in 1/2S, over a total
