ANNULAR PANCREAS IN INFANCY

Annular pancreas, though rare, is being reported with increasing frequency. Of somewhat more than 100 cases now reported, approximately one-third have been in infants and very young children. Kiesewetter and Koop 3 collected 25 cases in infants through 1952, including 6 of their own. Gross 2 added nine in 1953 and Rickham 6 five in 1954.
