Technic of tricuspid annuloplasty

The American Journal of Surgery, 1967
Abstract Significant tricuspid insufficiency accompanying lesions of the mitral and aortic valves produces serious effects if they are not repaired at the same time as the left sided lesions. Mitral annuloplasty ring migration

The International Journal of Cardiovascular Imaging
Mitral annuloplasty ring dehiscence is a rare post-operative complication [1, 2]. Even more rarely, dehiscent annuloplasty rings can migrate leading to vascular complications like aortic rupture and pseudoaneurysm formation [3]. This case highlights rare but severe complications of annuloplasty ring dehiscence and migration, and challenges of managing ...

Repair of Functional Tricuspid Regurgitation: Comparison Between Suture Annuloplasty and Rings Annuloplasty

The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 2014
The purpose of this study was to review our experience with modified De Vega tricuspid annuloplasty versus ring annuloplasty for treating functional tricuspid regurgitation (TR).In all, 448 consecutive patients undergoing tricuspid annuloplasty with concomitant procedures between 2000 and 2012 were included.

[Tricuspid annuloplasty].

Kyobu geka. The Japanese journal of thoracic surgery, 2010
Isolated tricuspid valve disease is rare. In approximately 75% of the cases, the tricuspid regurgitation (TR) is caused by dilatation of right ventricle, tricuspid annulus, and pulmonary hypertension. The presence of TR associated with left-sided valve disease, especially mitral, is very common.
