Objective A robotic approach to primary structural cardiac operations has been established, but there are fewer reports regarding its use in a reoperative setting. Our primary aim was to retrospectively compare outcomes between patients who underwent a robotic approach versus resternotomy for reoperative mitral valve interventions.

Robotic‐Assisted vs. Mini Thoracotomy Mitral Valve Repair for Myxomatous Mitral Valve Disease
Objective Minimally invasive techniques represent an emerging standard of care for the surgical treatment of myxomatous mitral valve disease. Due to the limited availability of the daVinci surgical system at our center, a robotic‐assisted (RA) approach is generally reserved for patients with complex leaflet pathology.

Transatrial Intrapericardial Tricuspid Annuloplasty
This study sought to demonstrate transcatheter deployment of a circumferential device within the pericardial space to modify tricuspid annular dimensions interactively and to reduce functional tricuspid regurgitation (TR) in swine.Functional TR is common and is associated with increased morbidity and mortality.

Objective This study aimed to evaluate the long‐term efficacy of a standardized triple procedure—coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), chordal‐sparing mitral valve replacement, and tricuspid annuloplasty—in high‐risk patients with end‐stage ischemic dilated cardiomyopathy (IsDCM) for whom heart transplantation was not an option.

Background Functional tricuspid valve (TV) disease progression and reoperation risk can be reduced through concomitant TV repair during left‐sided cardiac surgery. However, the optimal annuloplasty ring choice remains unclear; relevant studies have exhibited bias or had limited long‐term follow‐ups.

A Rare Case of Giant Cell Arteritis Affecting Two Giants: Pulmonary and Root of Aorta Aneurysm
ABSTRACT Aneurysms of pulmonary arteries and aorta are rare, typically caused by infections, congenital heart defects, vascular abnormalities, or medical interventions. This report presents an unusual case of a 72‐year‐old man with a history of smoking, hypertension, and emphysema, who was found to have a large pulmonary artery aneurysm (63.5 mm) and ...

The TAPSE/SPAP ratio is associated with worse prognosis in patients with significant tricuspid regurgitation and could indicate at‐risk patients. The exact cutoff value for RV‐PA uncoupling remains difficult to define and in available studies ranged from 0.26 to 0.49 mm/mmHg.
