Anodic oxidation of olefins in presence of fluorine anion
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 19761. The anodic oxidation of olefins in the presence of fluorine anion can be accompanied by the addition of two fluorine atoms to the multiple bond. Allylic substitution is a more characteristic reaction in the anodic oxidation of olefins. 2. The high lability of the allylic and benzylic fluorine atoms in acid medium is the reason for the

Fluorinated Aromatic Anode‐electrolyte Interface for Highly Reversible Zinc Anode
Advanced Functional MaterialsAbstract The issues of dendrite formation and side reactions at the zinc anode–electrolyte interface are the primary factors limiting the reversibility and stability of aqueous zinc‐ion batteries (AZIBs). Herein, the functionalities of fluorinated aromatic additive on zinc anode–electrolyte interface are ...

Interfacial tension and fluorine evolution on a carbon anode
Journal of Fluorine Chemistry, 2006During electrolysis of molten KF-2HF, strongly adherent fluorine bubbles are generated at the surface of carbon anode. The current was passing even if the horizontal anode was fully covered with gas film. The formation and growth of gas bubbles were studied by transient electrochemical techniques.
