PEDOT‐Based Eutectogel Electrode Arrays for Enhanced High‐Resolution Electrogastrography: Fabrication, Stability, and Wearable Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, we present a high‐density PEDOT eutectogel electrode array for enhanced body surface gastric mapping. Silver electrodes are blade‐coated onto flexible substrates, followed by electrogelation of PEDOT:PSS and the deposition of a PEDOT:LS eutectogel.

Fabrication of alumina films with laminated structures by ac anodization

open access: yesScience and Technology of Advanced Materials, 2014
Anodization techniques by alternating current (ac) are introduced in this review. By using ac anodization, laminated alumina films are fabricated. Different types of alumina films consisting of 50–200 nm layers were obtained by varying both the ac power ...

The Effect of Purcell Cavities on the Lifetime of Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescent Emitters

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A pressing challenge to OLED displays and lighting is to balance high efficiency and long operational lifetime in the deep blue spectrum. The Purcell effect can reduce the triplet density and hence the probability for destructive energy‐driven triplet annihilation events that limit the OLED lifetime. Here we study of the Purcell effect on two different

Tuning the Selectivity of the CO2 Reduction Reaction by Means of Synergistic Interactions in the Cu, Ag, Ce System

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Multi‐metal Cu─Ce─Ag nanoparticles harness synergistic interactions to drive efficient electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction toward C2+ products at high current densities. Ag enhances CO production, Ce modulates Cu oxidation states, and together they boost *CO coverage and local pH to enhance C─C coupling, enabling record C2+ yields with suppressed ...

Influence of electrical parameters on morphology of nanostructured TiO2 layers developed by electrochemical anodization

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2017
Ti6Al4V alloy micro rough surfaces with TiO2 self-organized nanostructured layers were synthesized using electrochemical anodization in phosphate/fluoride electrolyte, at different end potentials (5V, 10V, 15V, and 20 V).

Zwitterionic Self‐Assembled Monolayer for Simultaneous Noise Suppression and Hole Extraction in High‐Performance Near‐Infrared Organic Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a new hole transporting material (HTM) mechanism for self‐assembled monolayers in near‐infrared organic photodetectors. The formation of zwitterions induces a strong electric field that significantly increases the work function of HTM‐coated indium tin oxide substrates. The devices exhibit low dark current and noise, along with high

Domain Wall Rebounds Driven by Competing Entropic and Spin‐Transfer Torques in Cylindrical Nanowires

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Domain‐wall motion in cylindrical magnetic nanowires driven by nanosecond current pulses. Low current densities efficiently displace domain walls, whereas higher currents cause rebound at the wire ends. The effect results from the interplay between spin‐transfer torque and thermally induced processes, highlighting the role of thermal gradients in ...
