Charged Higgs bosons from the 3-3-1 models and the $\mathcal{R}(D^{(*)})$ anomalies [PDF]
Several anomalies in the semileptonic B-meson decays such as $\mathcal{R}(D^{(*)})$ have been reported by $BABAR$, Belle, and LHCb collaborations recently.

Anomaly structure of supergravity and anomaly cancellation
We display the full anomaly structure of supergravity, including new D-term contributions to the conformal anomaly. This expression has the super-Weyl and chiral U(1)_K transformation properties that are required for implementation of the Green-Schwarz mechanism for anomaly cancellation. We outline the procedure for full anomaly cancellation.

We discuss the form of the chiral anomaly on an S1/Z2 orbifold with chiral boundary conditions. We find that the 4-divergence of the higher-dimensional current evaluated at a given point in the extra dimension is proportional to the probability of ...

Higher-loop anomalies in chiral gravities [PDF]
The one-loop anomalies for chiral $W_{3}$ gravity are derived using the Fujikawa regularisation method. The expected two-loop anomalies are then obtained by imposing the Wess-Zumino consistency conditions on the one-loop results.

Ebstein's anomaly is a malformation of the tricuspid valve with myopathy of the right ventricle (RV) that presents with variable anatomic and pathophysiologic characteristics, leading to equally variable clinical scenarios. Medical management and observation is often recommended for asymptomatic patients and may be successful for many years.

We consider the problem of coupling a dyonic p-brane in d = 2p+4 space-time dimensions to a prescribed (p+2)-form field strength. This is particularly subtle when p is odd. For the case p = 1, we explicitly construct a coupling functional, which is a sum

The Problem of Unobserved Anomalies [PDF]
Scientific antirealism, the view that successful theories are empirically adequate, is untenable in light of the problem of unobserved anomalies that since past scientists could not observe the anomalies that caused the replacement of past theories with ...
