Quark and gluon contributions to the QCD trace anomaly
We show that, in dimensional regularization in the minimal subtraction scheme, the QCD trace anomaly can be unambiguously decomposed into two parts coming from the renormalized quark and gluon energy momentum tensors.

Geometric general solution to the U(1) anomaly equations
Costa et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 123 (2019) 151601] recently gave a general solution to the anomaly equations for n charges in a U(1) gauge theory. ‘Primitive’ solutions of chiral fermion charges were parameterised and it was shown how operations performed

Field condensations and Noncritical String for c>1 [PDF]
Quantum theory of 2d gravity for $c>1$ is examined as a non-critical string theory by taking account of the loop-correction of open strings whose end points are on the 2d world surface of the closed string. This loop-correction leads to a conformal anomaly, and we obtain a modified target-space action which implies a new phase of the non-critical ...

Systematic Literature Reviews: Reflections, Recommendations, and Robustness Check
ABSTRACT Systematic literature reviews are often conducted to consolidate, evaluate, and innovate an area in the body of knowledge. However, the exponential growth of these reviews has not only expanded the literature but also elevated expectations. What once sufficed now seems inadequate, necessitating a critical reflection.

The Fobinso granitoids are granodiorites, while the Esuajah granitoids are granites based on their mineralogical composition. The granitoids are generally enriched in LILE and LREE than HFSE, MREE, and HREE, indicating mixing with crustal sources during their evolution.

Self-dual strings in six dimensions: Anomalies, the ADE-classification, and the world-sheet WZW-model [PDF]
We consider the (2, 0) supersymmetric theory of tensor multiplets and self-dual strings in six space-time dimensions. Space-time diffeomorphisms that leave the string world-sheet invariant appear as gauge transformations on the normal bundle of the world-sheet. The naive invariance of the model under such transformations is however explicitly broken by

Comments on the Atiyah-Patodi-Singer index theorem, domain wall, and Berry phase
It is known that the Atiyah-Patodi-Singer index can be reformulated as the eta invariant of the Dirac operators with a domain wall mass which plays a key role in the anomaly inflow of the topological insulator with boundary.

Review on Uniaxial Negative Thermal Expansion of Tr‐Zr Superconductors
In this paper, we review recent research progress of a study of uniaxial negative thermal expansion (NTE) along the c‐axis with transition (Tr) metal zirconide TrZr2 and TrZr3 superconductors. We introduce the unique thermal expansion properties of TrZr2 and TrZr3 and the flexibility of controlling thermal expansion properties.

Anomaly and double copy in quantum self-dual Yang-Mills and gravity
Recent works have explored how scattering amplitudes in quantum self-dual Yang-Mills theory and self-dual gravity can be interpreted as resulting from an anomaly, as first proposed by W. Bardeen.

Efficacy and cost of four plant‐derived, natural herbicides for certified organic agriculture
After three seasons of repeated applications, active ingredients capric and caprylic acid and d‐limonene reduced early season perennial weed cover compared with hand weeding and a do‐nothing control. Abstract BACKGROUND Weed management is the greatest production challenge for most certified organic farmers, with few herbicides allowed on organic farms.
