Predictive Ability of Plasma p‐tau217 for β‐Amyloid Status: A Prospective Multicenter Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Plasma tau phosphorylated at threonine 217 (p‐tau217) measured with fully automated platforms has shown high accuracy for Alzheimer's disease (AD) diagnosis, but real‐world multicenter data remain limited. We aimed to validate the diagnostic performance of p‐tau217 for identifying AD pathology in a real‐world multicenter cohort ...

Recurrent Hypothermia and Autonomic Dysfunction Secondary to Shapiro Syndrome

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A 44‐year‐old man presented with recurrent hypothermia, diaphoresis and hypertension. Extensive investigation for infectious, inflammatory, metabolic and endocrine aetiologies was negative. MR scan of the brain demonstrated no lesions but revealed callosal dysgenesis, consistent with Shapiro syndrome.

Resection of ruptured aneurysm associated with bilateral anomalous posterior inferior cerebellar anastomotic arteries: case report and review of literature

open access: yesFrontiers in Neurology, 2023
IntroductionAneurysms on the posterior inferior cerebellar artery (PICA) may not be the major part of intracranial aneurysm. Especially, an aneurysm located on the bilateral posterior inferior cerebellar anastomotic artery has abnormal anatomical ...

Subclinical Optic Nerve Involvement in Radiologically Isolated Syndrome: Multimodal Detection and Diagnostic Impact

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives We aimed to determine the frequency of subclinical optic nerve (ON) lesions using MRI, optical coherence tomography (OCT), and visual evoked potentials (VEP) in radiologically isolated syndrome (RIS), and to assess their diagnostic and prognostic significance.

Doping-induced enhancement of anomalous Hall coefficient in Fe-Sn nanocrystalline films for highly sensitive Hall sensors

open access: yesAPL Materials, 2019
We experimentally investigated the contribution of intrinsic anomalous Hall effect (AHE) in ferromagnetic Fe-Sn nanocrystalline films by means of impurity doping.

Diagnosis and percutaneous coronary intervention of an anomalous right coronary artery originating from the middle of the left anterior descending artery: a case report

open access: yesJournal of International Medical Research, 2020
A single left coronary artery is a very rare anomaly in which only the left coronary artery arises from the aortic trunk by a single coronary ostium and supplies the entire heart.

The Summertime Circulation Types over Eurasia and Their Connections with the North Atlantic Oscillation Modulated by North Atlantic SST

open access: yesAtmosphere, 2022
ERA5 monthly averaged reanalysis data during 1979–2020 are used to analyze the anomalous characteristics of summertime circulation types over Eurasia and their connections with the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) modulated by North Atlantic sea surface ...

Anomalous Scaling Exponents of Capacitance-Voltage Characteristics

open access: yes, 2018
Capacitance-Voltage (CV) measurements along with the Mott-Schottky (MS) analysis are widely used for characterization of material and device parameters. Using a simple analytical model, supported by detailed numerical simulations, here we predict that the capacitance of thin film devices scale as V^-2 (V is the applied potential), instead of the often ...

Thalamo‐Lesional Connectivity Signatures of Bilateral Tonic–Clonic Seizures in Focal Cortical Dysplasia‐Related Epilepsy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives Focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) is the most common etiology of drug‐resistant epilepsy in children. Focal to bilateral tonic–clonic seizures (FBTCS) mark a high risk of drug‐resistant epilepsy and involve thalamocortical circuitry in their generation and propagation.
