Fractional Calculus Models for the Anomalous Diffusion Processes and Their Analysis
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2010In this paper, the anomalous diffusion processes are modeled with partial differential equations of the fractional order that are then discussed in details. The anomalous diffusion can be characterized by the property that it no longer follows the Gaussian statistics and in particular one observes a deviation from the linear time dependence of the mean

Summary This paper gives an analysis of the Thomas and Windle model (Thomas and Windle 1982) to determine its usefulness for describing anomalous diffusion of CO2 in coal and its relation to matrix swelling. In addition, a finite-element description for this model is derived.

Models of the neutral-fractional anomalous diffusion and their analysis
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2012Anomalous diffusion can be roughly characterized by the property that the diffusive particles do not follow the Gaussian statistics. When the mean squared displacement of the particles behaves in time like a power function, time- and/or space-fractional derivatives were shown to be useful in modeling of such diffusion processes.

Models of Anomalous Diffusion and its analysis
Journal of Al-Rafidain University College For Sciences ( Print ISSN: 1681-6870 ,Online ISSN: 2790-2293 )The anomalous diffusion is characterized by deviation from Gaussian statistics and the absence of a linear time dependency in the mean square displacement. This study investigates anomalous diffusion processes that exhibit a power-law growth in mean square displacement as time progresses.

Abstract In this study a 3D multi-particle diffusion limited aggregation method is employed to simulate growth of rough surfaces with fractal behavior in electrodeposition process. A deposition model is used in which the radial motion of the particles with probability P, competes with random motions with probability 1 − P .
