Anomalous dissolution behavior of the diazepam ? ?-cyclodextrin complex in polymer solutions
Journal of Inclusion Phenomena, 1984The dissolution process of the diazepam — γ-cyclodextrin complex in aqueous polymer solutions has been studied. Hydroxypropyl cellulose and polyvinylpyrrolidone stabilize the supersaturated state of the complex, maintaining the higher drug level for a longer period.

Anomalous Water Penetration in Al3+ Dissolution
The Journal of Physical Chemistry LettersThe physicochemical characterization of trivalent ions is limited due to a lack of accurate force fields. By leveraging the latest machine learning force field to model aqueous AlCl3, we discover that upon dissolution of Al3+, water molecules beyond the second hydration shell are involved in the hydration process.

Celecoxib is a COX II inhibitor NSAID which is used for joint pains, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, however due to its poor water solubility it shows very low oral bioavailability. Using solid dispersion formulations is one of the most promising strategies to increase solubility of poorly water soluble drugs.

Anomalous dissolution of nickel during the anodic oxidation of NiZn and NiZn3 intermetallic phases
Protection of Metals, 2000A physicochemical model is proposed for the conjugation of partial processes of hydrogen evolution and nickel ionization through a common intermediate stage of the surface dissociation of water. The model describes anodic and anomalous dissolution of nickel from the individual and intermetallic NiZn and NiZn3 phases. The acceleration of these processes

Anomalous Electrochemical Dissolution and Passivation of Iron Growth Catalysts in Carbon Nanotubes
Langmuir, 2007Catalytically synthesized carbon nanotubes (CNTs) such as those prepared via chemical vapor deposition (CVD) contain metallic impurities including Fe, Ni, Co, and Mo. Transition metal contaminants such as Fe can participate in redox cycling reactions that catalyze the generation of reactive oxygen species and other products.

To understand the anomalous behavior of Saquinavir Mesylate (SQVM) in sodium decyl sulfate (SDS) medium during a dissolution test through a crystallographic analysis of the crystal obtained. As a result, it will be possible to elucidate its crystal structure and carry out a complete solid-state characterization of the API.The solid form obtained was ...

On the role of the anions on the anomalous anodic dissolution of aluminium
Journal of Applied Electrochemistry, 1977The influence of the anions on current efficiency during the anodic dissolution of aluminium, and on the surface state of the electrode, has been studied both from a theoretical and an experimental point of view. The results obtained have some implications both in the field of electropolishing and in the field of electrochemical machining.
