Natural split mechanism for sfermions: N=2 supersymmetry in phenomenology

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
We suggest a natural split mechanism for sfermions based on N=2 supersymmetry (SUSY). N=2 SUSY protects a sfermion in an N=2 multiplet from gaining weight by SUSY breaking.

Constraining WIMP magnetic moment from CDMS II experiment

open access: yes, 2010
We consider a degenerate or a nearly degenerate dark matter sector where a sizable magnetic moment of an almost Dirac type neutral dark matter candidate N is anticipated.

Explanations for anomalies of muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment, $b\to s μ\barμ$ and radiative neutrino masses in a leptoquark model

open access: yes, 2021
We propose a leptoquark model simultaneously to explain anomalies of muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment and $b\to s μ\barμ$ in light of experimental reports very recently. Here, we satisfy several stringent constraints such as $μ\to eγ$ and meson mixings.

The Progress of Orbitronics: The Enhancement of Orbital Torque Efficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
Orbit‐torque (OT) devices attract significant attention for their low‐power consumption and high stability in applications. This review systematically outlines strategies for enhancing OT efficiency. We categorize approaches into boosting orbital currents/torques and improving the orbital‐to‐spin conversion coefficient.

Tau weak dipole moments from azimuthal asymmetries

open access: yes, 1998
We show that transverse and normal single-$tau$ polarization of $tau$ pairs produced at $e^+$ $e^-$ unpolarized collisions, at the $Z$ peak, are sensitive to weak (magnetic and electric) dipole moments of the $tau$.

Multi‐Method Geophysical Surveys Between and Around the Kerlescan and the Manio Megalithic Alignments in Carnac (Morbihan, France)

open access: yesArchaeological Prospection, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The Carnac alignments in Morbihan (France) are among the most famous Neolithic sites of the world. Paradoxically, they have benefited little from a thorough renewal of archaeological data over the past century. There are many reasons for this, but it is mainly because the site has been regarded more as a monument to visit and protect than as ...

LHC 750 GeV diphoton excess and muon (g−2)

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
We consider implications of the diphoton excess recently observed at the LHC on the anomalous magnetic dipole moment of the muon (g−2)μ=2aμ, hypothesizing that the possible 750 GeV resonance is a (pseudo)scalar particle ϕ(∼).

Electric dipole and magnetic quadrupole moments of the $W$ boson via a CP-violating $HWW$ vertex in effective Lagrangians

open access: yes, 2005
The possibility of nonnegligible $W$ electric dipole ($\widetilde{\mu}_W$) and magnetic quadrupole ($\widetilde{Q}_W$) moments induced by the most general $HWW$ vertex is examined via the effective Lagrangian technique.

Research progress and current status of dynamic wave propagation characteristics in rock mass: A review

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
This review elucidates the velocity–dispersion–attenuation coupling mechanisms of wave propagation in rock masses, compares six representative models, and reveals how pressure, temperature, mineral composition, and anisotropy jointly control dynamic responses in complex geological media.

Flavor-changing decay h → τ μ at super hadron colliders

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We study the flavor-changing decay h → τ μ with τ = τ − +τ + and μ = μ − +μ + of a Higgs boson at future hadron colliders, namely: a) High Luminosity Large Hadron Collider, b) High Energy Large Hadron Collider and c) Future hadron-hadron Circular ...
