Muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment in the μ νSSM * [PDF]

open access: greenChinese Physics C, 2022
Abstract Recently, the Muon g-2 experiment at Fermilab measured the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment (MDM), , and reported that the new experimental average increases the difference between the experiment and the standard model (SM) prediction to 4.2σ. In this work,

First muon acceleration and muon linear accelerator for measuring the muon anomalous magnetic moment and electric dipole moment [PDF]

open access: goldProgress of Theoretical and Experimental Physics, 2022
Abstract Muon acceleration using a radio-frequency accelerator was recently demonstrated for the first time. Measurement of the muon anomalous magnetic moment and electric dipole moment at the Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex is the first experiment using accelerated muon beams, and construction will begin soon.

A new approach for measuring the muon anomalous magnetic moment and electric dipole moment [PDF]

open access: goldProgress of Theoretical and Experimental Physics, 2019
This paper introduces a new approach to measure the muon magnetic moment anomaly $a_ = (g-2)/2$, and the muon electric dipole moment (EDM) $d_ $ at the J-PARC muon facility. The goal of our experiment is to measure $a_ $ and $d_ $ using an independent method with a factor of 10 lower muon momentum, and a factor of 20 smaller diameter storage-ring ...

Discovering non-Abelian weak couplings and an anomalous magnetic dipole moment of the W± at LEP 2 [PDF]

open access: greenPhysics Letters B, 1996
In view of the forthcoming results on $W^{\pm}$ pair production at LEP~2, we emphasize that {\em direct empirical evidence} on non-trivial properties of the weak vector bosons can be obtained with relatively limited integrated luminosity. An integrated luminosity of $10\;\mathrm{pb}^{-1}$ at $\sqrt{s}=175$ GeV will be sufficient to provide direct ...

Leptonic anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments in the CP-violating NMSSM with and without inverse seesaw mechanism

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
The new results on the muon anomalous magnetic moment (AMM) published by Fermilab in 2021 did not lead to a reduction of its long-pending deviation from the Standard Model (SM) value by more than 4 $$\sigma $$ σ .

Anomalous Magnetic Dipole Moment \((g-2)\mu\) in 3-3-1 Model with Inverse Seesaw Neutrinos [PDF]

open access: bronzeCommunications in Physics, 2020
We will show that the recent experimental value of the anomalous magnetic moment (AMM) of the charged lepton m , denoted as \(a_mu (g-2)\mu/2\), can be explained successfully in a 3-3-1 model with right handed neutrino adding new heavy \(SU (3)_L\) neutrinos singlets. Allowed regions satisfying the recent AMM data are illustrated numerically.

Magnetic dipole moment of soft gamma-ray repeaters and anomalous X-ray pulsars described as massive and magnetic white dwarfs [PDF]

open access: greenPublications of the Astronomical Society of Japan, 2014
Abstract Anomalous X-ray pulsars (AXPs) and soft gamma-ray repeaters (SGRs) are some of the most interesting groups of pulsars that have been intensively studied in recent years. They are understood as neutron stars (NSs) with super-strong magnetic fields, namely B ≳ 1014 G.

Anomalous spin precession systematic effects in the search for a muon EDM using the frozen-spin technique [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
At the Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI), we are developing a high-precision apparatus with the aim of searching for the muon electric dipole moment (EDM) with unprecedented sensitivity.
