Muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment in the μ νSSM [PDF]

open access: yesChinese Physics C, 2021
Recently, the Muon g-2 experiment at Fermilab measured the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment (MDM), , and reported that the new experimental average increases the difference between the experiment and the standard model (SM) prediction to 4.2σ.

Anomalous Magnetic Moment and Electric Dipole Moment of Muon

open access: yesRADIOISOTOPES, 2020
Muon is an elementary particle that belongs to the second-generation lepton with spin 1/2. Spin of muon inter-acts with electro-magnetic fields through dipole moments.

Transverse spin asymmetries at the EIC as a probe of anomalous electric and magnetic dipole moments [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2023
We show that inclusive single-spin asymmetries (SSAs) with transversely polarized protons or electrons at a future electron ion collider (EIC) are sensitive to new physics contributions to electroweak dipole operators of electrons and quarks.

Reconstructing Supersymmetric Contribution to Muon Anomalous Magnetic Dipole Moment at ILC [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2013
We study the possibility to determine the supersymmetric (SUSY) contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment by using ILC measurements of the properties of superparticles. Assuming that the contribution is as large as the current discrepancy

Leptonic anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments in the CP-violating NMSSM with and without inverse seesaw mechanism [PDF]

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal C, 2022
The new results on the muon anomalous magnetic moment (AMM) published by Fermilab in 2021 did not lead to a reduction of its long-pending deviation from the Standard Model (SM) value by more than 4 $$\sigma $$ σ .

A spin 1/2 particle with anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments

open access: yesProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Physics and Mathematics Series, 2022
It is Petras who first developed the P-symmetric theory for a spin 1/2 particle with an anomalous magnetic moment within the general Gel’fand – Yaglom approach.

Discovering non-Abelian weak couplings and an anomalous magnetic dipole moment of the W± at LEP 2 [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1996
In view of the forthcoming results on W ± pair production at LEP 2, -we emphasize that direct empirical evidence on non-trivial properties of the weak vector bosons can be obtained with relatively limited integrated luminosity.

Final report on the CERN muon storage ring including the anomalous magnetic moment and the electric dipole moment of the muon, and a direct test of relativistic time dilation [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1979
Abstract A comprehensive description of the muon storage ring and its operation is given, and the final results of the experiment are presented and discussed. The anomalous magnetic moments of positive and negative muons are found to be aμ+ = 1165911(11) × 10−9 and aμ− = 1165937(12) × 10−9 giving an average value for muons of aμ = 1165924(8.5) × 10−9.

Anomalous Magnetic Dipole Moment \((g-2)\mu\) in 3-3-1 Model with Inverse Seesaw Neutrinos [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Physics, 2020
We will show that the recent experimental value of the anomalous magnetic moment (AMM) of the charged lepton μ , denoted as aμ ≡ (g− 2)μ/2, can be explained successfully in a 3-3-1 model with right handed neutrinos adding new heavy SU(3)L neutrino ...
