Polyvinyl pyrrolidone passivation enhances TiO2/CsPbI2Br interfaces, suppressing recombination and improving photodetector performance with faster response, higher photoresponsivity, and superior detectivity. Abstract Inorganic perovskites hold immense promise for optoelectronic applications, but their performance is often hindered by defects and trap ...

Interfacial Yield Stress Response in Synthetic Mucin Solutions
The solution rheology of novel synthetic mucins mimicking natural mucin domains is studied. Like many natural mucin solutions, apparent solid‐like rheology is seen. However, no bulk structural features are found to explain it. Interfacial rheology and robust modelling reveal that this arises from molecular associations at the air–water interface ...

Precision muon-related observables as a tool to constrain new physics models
We propose a set of precision muon-related observables that serve as a tool to constrain new physics models. Using LEP's precision measurements on the Z-boson pole, we derive bounds on the new physics quantum contributions to the decay Z→μ+μ−.

The Rise of Refractory Transition‐Metal Nitride Films for Advanced Electronics and Plasmonics
Transition‐metal nitrides (TMNs) are exceptional materials with high stability, biocompatibility, and semiconductor integration, which have been extensively employed in various fields. However, the epitaxial growth of TMN films remains a challenge. The absence of high‐quality TMNs limits the understanding of their condensed matter physics and hinders ...

Recurrent neural networks for anomaly detection in magnet power supplies of particle accelerators
This research illustrates how time-series forecasting employing recurrent neural networks (RNNs) can be used for anomaly detection in particle accelerators—complex machines that accelerate elementary particles to high speeds for various scientific and ...
