Electrical Manipulation of Field‐Free Magnetization Switching Driven by Spin‐Orbit Torque in Amorphous Gradient‐Mn3Sn

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A highly efficient spin current with z‐polarization is achieved in amorphous Mn3Sn with a spontaneous composition gradient, which allows field‐free magnetization switching. Spin current efficiency and magnetization switching polarity are reversibly manipulated by ionic liquid gating, enabling logic functions by pure electrical methods. This work offers

High Radiation Resistance in the Binary W‐Ta System Through Small V Additions: A New Paradigm for Nuclear Fusion Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Refractory high‐entropy alloys exhibit superior radiation tolerance, but face fabrication challenges due to complex compositions. It is demonstrated that reducing the number of alloying elements does not compromise radiation resistance in a novel W‐Ta‐V highly‐concentrated refractory alloy.

All‐Electrical Control of Spin Synapses for Neuromorphic Computing: Bridging Multi‐State Memory with Quantization for Efficient Neural Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops three all‐electrically controlled, field‐free spintronic synapse devices for neuromorphic computing. The tilted anisotropy device achieves an 11‐state memory with minimal cycle‐to‐cycle variation (2%), enabling high‐accuracy neural network quantization (81.51% in ResNet‐18). These findings position spintronic synapses as a promising

Ti3C2Tx MXene‐Zirconium Diboride Based Ultra‐High Temperature Ceramics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates the effectiveness of Ti3C2Tx MXenes as additives in ultra‐high‐temperature ceramics (ZrB₂), enhancing densification, reducing oxygen content, and improving mechanical properties. Through surfactant‐free electrostatic self‐assembly and spark plasma sintering, MXenes enabled the formation of a core–shell microstructure, resulting ...
