Neurogastroenterology &Motility, Volume 36, Issue 6, June 2024.In this prospective study of a pediatric population, sacral neuromodulation (SNM) shows efficacy in up to 90% of patients with refractory chronic constipation and fecal incontinence. Indications for SNM might therefore be expanded to patients with Hirschsprung's disease and congenital neuronal defecation disorders.
