Application ANSYS CFX in Modeling Turbine Blade
Materials Science Forum, 2009The main component of turbine is made up of stator and rotor, w hose function is to transform liquid energy in to mechanical energy on the main shaft. ANSYS CFX-BladeGen is applied to model turbine , ANSYS CFX-TurboGrid is applied to create a mesh for an turbine blade and then numerical simulation calculation on the obtained model is conducted.

The Hydrodynamic Analysis of Propeller Based on ANSYS-CFX
Advanced Materials Research, 2013In this paper, the open water performance of a pod propeller in the viscous flow fields is numerically simulated by the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method. Based on the coordinate transformation formula for transforming the local to the global coordinate, mathematical model of a propeller is created.

Simulation of vortex-induced vibrations of a cylinder using ANSYS CFX
China Ocean Engineering, 2014In this paper, vortex-induced vibrations of a cylinder are simulated by use of ANSYS CFX simulation code. The cylinder is treated as a rigid body and transverse displacements are obtained by use of a one degree of freedom spring damper system. 2-D as well as 3-D analysis is performed using air as the fluid.

Analysis of Passive Heat Removal System by ANSYS CFX software
2018 19th International Scientific Conference on Electric Power Engineering (EPE), 2018In the current study, the model of Passive Heat Removal System (PHRS) through SG (steam-generator) was developed for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis. During work there was done three main tasks, which are creating geometrical form of PHRS, meshing of model to achieve a better analysis of thermo-hydraulic phenomena and creating domains for ...

Overview of Fluid-Structure Coupling in ANSYS-CFX
Volume 4: Terry Jones Pipeline Technology; Ocean Space Utilization; CFD and VIV Symposium, 2006The paper provides information of fluid-structure interaction (FSI) capabilities in the ANSYS multi-physics software environment for off-shore riser applications. Simulation examples are a simple verification of the FSI code by a bending beam in a flow channel, vortex induced vibrations (VIV) for a cylinder in cross flow and the flow around an ...
