Mitigation of mutual coupling in microstrip antenna arrays
This article demonstrates the alleviation of mutual coupling of a simple and low-cost four-element microstrip array antenna by loading I-shaped slot-type electromagnetic band gap structure in the ground plane. FR-4 glass epoxy is used as dielectric substrate.

Null positioning of dipole antenna array considering coupling effect [PDF]
Antenna array is a set of antennas that are arranged together with different excitations (amplitude and phase) and used in beamforming techniques. The difference in phases are combined together to make the array acting like a single antenna with better ...

Near‐Unity Chiral Lasing Enabled by Quasi‐Bound States in the Continuum
Nanoimprinted chiral array that supports bound states in the continuum is doped with an efficient non‐chiral molecule (Rhodamine‐B) acting as gain medium to produce fully circularly polarized lasing emission. The chiral lasing wavelength can be tuned across the emission band of Rhodamine‐B by adjusting the coating thickness of the TiO2 high refractive ...

Mutual Coupling Effect on Ultrawideband Linear Antenna Array Performance
This paper studies the mutual coupling effect between array elements of two- and four-element ultrawideband (UWB) linear arrays on their performances. For simplicity, it is assumed that both antenna arrays are fed by independent microstrip lines with the

A Method of Reducing Mutual Coupling for a Finite Array
A method of reducing mutual coupling for a finite array with the characteristics of wideband and beam steering is presented in this paper. By adding an extra decoupling network, the mutual coupling can be efficiently suppressed for the antenna array.

This project developed a smart bandage‐like patch (a microneedle array) for repairing diabetic bone damage. It intelligently senses signals from infection and inflammation, then releases its medicines in a specific, timed sequence: first an antibacterial agent, then an anti‐inflammatory agent, and finally growth factors.
