The eleven antenna: a compact low-profile decade bandwidth dual polarized feed for reflector antennas [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
A novel dual polarized ultrawide-band (UWB) feed with a decade bandwidth is presented for use in both single and dual reflector antennas. The feed has nearly constant beam width and 11 dBi directivity over at least a decade bandwidth.

Improvement of a Circular Microstrip Antenna Excited by Four Feeds and Suspended with Artificial Magnetic Conductors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2013
The proposed antenna is a circular microstrip structure excited by four feeds and suspended with artificial magnetic conductors (AMCs). The multifeed circular microstrip antennas can generate a high circularly polarized performance by using a different ...

Multi-Feed Metasurface Antennas: Direct Numerical Design and Experimental Validations

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
This paper provides new designs and realizations of leaky-wave (LW) metasurface (MTS) antennas fed at multiple points. The design technique is based on the direct integral-equation solution by the Method of Moments (MoM).

Multi-Port Patch Antennas for Flexible Power Combining and Feeding Choice

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Patch antennas with multiple feeds are proposed in this paper. The antennas consist of a traditional square patch and feeding probes that are set in a line orthogonal to the polarization direction.

High efficiency multifrequency feed [PDF]

open access: yes, 1974
Antenna systems and particularly compact and simple antenna feeds which can transmit and receive simultaneously in at least three frequency bands, each with high efficiency and polarization diversity are described.

Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Random Beam-Based Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access for Low Latency K-User MISO Broadcast Channels

open access: yesSensors, 2021
In this paper, we propose random beam-based non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) for low latency multiple-input single-output (MISO) broadcast channels, where there is a target signal-to-interference-plus-noise power ratio (SINR) for each user.

Phased-array antenna phase control circuit using frequency multiplication [PDF]

open access: yes, 1975
Circuit separates out, from multiplied signals, antenna element signals which have desirable phase angles and feeds them to appropriate antenna elements of phased array.

Dual feeding active integrated antenna

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2002
A dual feeding active integrated antenna with high isolation between the Tx and Rx ports of a single triangular patch antenna is presented. The proposed antenna suppresses the third harmonics and isolates the Tx signal at the Rx ports to a high degree. The measured results of the return loss, isolation, and radiation patterns are provided.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...
