MM-Wave Phased Array Quasi-Yagi Antenna for the Upcoming 5G Cellular Communications
The focus of this manuscript was to propose a new phased array antenna design for the fifth generation (5G) mobile platforms. Eight elements of compact Quasi-Yagi antennas were placed on the top portion of smartphone printed circuits board (PCB) to form ...

Phased array antennas in MIMO receiver
In this paper, a computer simulation of a MIMO system comprising phased array antennas (PAA) in all receiving branches is presented. In order to examine the system performance under relatively realistic conditions, a ray-tracing simulator was applied to generate a baseband channel impulse response matrix H.

A self‐sustaining solar photoelectrochemical cell (SS‐PEC) is developed to recover uranium from aqueous UO22+ with concurrent organic oxidation and electricity production. The monolithical photoanode directly captures electrons from organic compounds, leading to the oxidation of organic compounds and the decomposition of uranium‐organic complexes ...

Double Helical Plasmonic Antennas
Plasmonic double helical antennas funnel circularly polarized light to the nanoscale, offering strong chiroptical interaction and directional light emission. Extending a single helix design tool, this study combines numerical modeling with experimental validation, revealing large, broadband dissymmetry factors in the visible range.

Subarray partition based on sparse array weighted K‐means clustering
This paper introduces the subarray partition based on the sparse array weighted K‐means clustering method, which extends the conventional K‐means clustering method through the inclusion of a weight matrix approach. This matrix is derived by recording the
