Anterior Chamber Depth Measurement in Clinical Practice
Optometry and Vision Science, 1996ABSTRACT This study compares the validity of anterior chamber depth estimates provided by a slit‐lamp technique with those obtained from pachometry and ultrasonography. The technique provides depth estimates which are valid to within ±0.33 mm relative to standard pachometry, and to within ±0.42 mm relative to ultrasonography.

Anterior Chamber Depth Following Filtration Surgery
Ophthalmic Surgery, Lasers and Imaging Retina, 1989ABSTRACT We measured the anterior chamber depth in 20 consecutive phakic glaucoma patients undergoing thermal sclerostomy (n = 12) or trabeculectomy (n = 8). Using the Haag-Streit pachymeter, measurements were taken preoperatively and at postoperative days 1, 2, 3, 6, 15, and 42.

Axial Anterior Chamber Depth after Trabeculectomy
Ophthalmologica, 2010Trabeculectomy was performed on 14 consecutive phakic eyes, and measurements of axial anterior chamber depth were taken preoperatively and on postoperative days 1, 2, 3, 6 and 14. The mean maximal change in anterior chamber depth occurred on the 1st postoperative day, while the anterior chamber reached its shallowest state on the 2nd postoperative day.

Maintenance of the Anterior Chamber Depth During Anterior Segment Surgery
Archives of Ophthalmology, 1967MAINTENANCE and control of the anterior chamber depth during surgery of the anterior segment are of importance in certain ophthalmic procedures. New techniques to achieve this goal have been developed but their use has not always prevented loss of the chamber leading to failure or only partial success of the intended surgery. In addition, many of these

Crystalline lens accommodation and anterior chamber depth
Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics, 1989Using paraxial equations, the change in dioptric power of the crystalline lens required to image objects at given distances from the eye, on the retina, is calculated. This shows that the depth of the anterior chamber affects crystalline lens accommodation more than other variables.

Anterior chamber depths of Nigerians.
Annals of ophthalmology, 1977Anterior chamber depths of 1,646 eyes of 823 Nigerians were measured to determine the distribution of chamber depths in Nigerians, and to compare the findings with previous observations in Caucasians. The persons examined included normal subjects and other groups with ocular pathology, such as glaucoma. The mean chamber depth in normal persons was 3.23

[The anterior chamber depth after trabeculectomy].
[Zhonghua yan ke za zhi] Chinese journal of ophthalmology, 1993The anterior chamber depth was measured with the Haag-Streit Pachymeter in 26 cases (33 eyes) of primary angle-closure glaucoma preoperatively and postoperatively on days 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 30, 45 and 60. After successful trabeculectomy, the anterior chamber depth became shallower, particularly on days 2 to 4 postoperative, and then ...
