Chylothorax as the Initial Manifestation of Small Cell Lung Carcinoma

Chylothorax can indeed be an initial manifestation of lung cancer. Non‐traumatic and non‐iatrogenic chylothorax requires thorough investigation, with computed tomography (CT) of the chest being a crucial diagnostic tool. Prolonged drainage of chylothorax can lead to exaggerated immunosuppression in malignancy.

Extra‐Adrenal Paraganglioma Mimicking a Hilar Lymph Node Metastasis From Testicular Cancer: A Case Study

We present a patient with the first case of coexisting multiple malignancies of paraganglioma and testicular cancer. Tumors that are difficult to biopsy, especially mediastinal tumors, may be clinically diagnosed as the same tumor and incorrectly treated. In such scenarios, diagnostic surgical resection may be a valid and effective option.
