Abstract A group of fifty-two lateral cephalograms of subjects with open-bites was compared to a group of 166 cephalograms of Angle Class I normal adult subjects. Three linear and three angular measurements were made. It was found that the UFH LFH ratio was less for open-bite subjects and was reasonably constant at all ages.
