Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Controlled laser‐drilling of embedded HfO2 membranes creates three layer nanopores with Gaussian‐shaped cavities sculptured in the supporting layers. These embedded solid‐state nanopores slow DNA translocation by 12‐fold compared to SiNx pores, enabling high‐resolution, label‐free detection of short DNAs, RNAs, and proteins.

Severe anterior open-bite malocclusion.
The Angle orthodontist, 2006 This case report describes the treatment of a severe anterior open bite, Class II malocclusion with a history of dummy sucking. The 9-year-old girl presented with a significant anteroposterior and vertical discrepancy. Her face was convex with procumbent lips.
