Emergency Medicine Physicians Success Rate in Reducing Anterior Shoulder Dislocations: A Retrospective Observational Study

open access: yesSaudi Journal of Emergency Medicine
Background: Shoulder dislocations are common occurrences, with anterior shoulder dislocations being the most prevalent. Various reduction techniques are employed, but success rates and influencing factors remain variable. This study aims to evaluate the

High‐Pressure Homogenization: An Industrially Scalable Method for Producing PHBH Powders for Selective Laser Sintering

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This article investigates a sustainable approach to producing new powders for selective laser sintering by using high‐pressure homogenization to micronize biopolymers. The approach yields flowable, thermally stable particles with sub‐rounded morphology, enabling 3D printing of dense components with complex geometries.

High Fidelity Waveguides Through Vitreous Media Recomposition for Next Generation Photonic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
A newly designed aluminosilicate glass enables the fabrication of femtosecond laser‐written optical waveguides with ultra‐low propagation losses of −0.020 dB cm−1 at 1310 nm and −0.037 dB cm−1 at 1550 nm. Raman, Brillouin, and electron microscopy analyses reveal the mechanisms behind refractive index modifications, highlighting the role of glass ...

Hyperphosphorescent OLEDs: Harnessing the Power of MR‐TADF Terminal Emitters

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Hyperphosphorescent organic light‐emitting diodes (HP‐OLEDs) use phosphorescent sensitizers with multiresonant thermally activated delayed fluorescence terminal emitters. HP‐OLEDs show efficient, narrowband electroluminescence and moderate efficiency roll‐off.
