Possible influence of anthropogenic aerosols on cirrus clouds and anthropogenic forcing [PDF]
Abstract. Cirrus clouds have a net warming effect on the atmosphere and cover about 30% of the Earth's area. Aerosol particles initiate ice formation in the upper troposphere through modes of action that include homogeneous freezing of solution droplets, heterogeneous nucleation on solid particles immersed in a solution, and deposition nucleation of ...

Indirect long-term global radiative cooling from NOx emissions [PDF]
Anthropogenic emissions of short‐lived, chemically reactive gases, such as NO x and CO, are known to influence climate by altering the chemistry of the global troposphere and thereby the abundance of the greenhouse gases O3, CH4 and the HFCs.

Dust-wind interactions can intensify aerosol pollution over eastern China. [PDF]
Eastern China has experienced severe and persistent winter haze episodes in recent years due to intensification of aerosol pollution. In addition to anthropogenic emissions, the winter aerosol pollution over eastern China is associated with unusual ...

Detectable anthropogenic influence on summer compound hot events over China from 1965 to 2014
Compared with independent hot days or nights, compound hot extremes have more adverse effects on society. In this study, hot extremes are categorized into three types: independent hot days, independent hot nights and compound hot events combining daytime

Chemical nonlinearities in relating intercontinental ozone pollution to anthropogenic emissions [PDF]
Model studies typically estimate intercontinental influence on surface ozone by perturbing emissions from a source continent and diagnosing the ozone response in the receptor continent.

Detecting anthropogenic influence with a multi‐model ensemble [PDF]
Averaging results from multiple models has previously been found to improve estimates of the climatology and seasonal predictions of atmospheric variables. Here we describe how a multi‐model mean of the simulated response to greenhouse gas and sulphate aerosol changes may be used to detect anthropogenic influence on surface temperature.

EPIDEMIOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF ANTHROPOGENIC INFLUENCE TO LEPTOSPIROSIS EVOLUTION
. It has been shown that practical activity of people during the last several decades exerts significant influence not only for frequency of population’s contacts with leptospirosis foci, but also for changes of mammalian types which are reservoirs and ...
