This paper seeks to compare the anthroponomy situation in Rab and Zadar communes in the mid-fourteenth century. Partly due to natural and partly due to social reasons, Zadar was more exposed to Slavic influences, unlike Rab in which the Romanic elements in anthroponomy show greater resistance.
