Primary Cervical Angiosarcoma Presenting With Transfusion‐Dependent Bleeding in Early Pregnancy: Diagnostic and Management Challenges

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Persistent vaginal bleeding during pregnancy should not be attributed solely to obstetric causes. Rare cervical malignancies, including angiosarcoma, may present with life‐threatening anemia, and MRI with early biopsy is essential to avoid diagnostic delay.

Zinc–Adenine Metal‐Organic Frameworks for Electrochemical Detection of VCAM‐1+CD63+ Endothelial Cell‐derived Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesElectrochemical Science Advances, Volume 6, Issue 4, August 2026.
CD63‑aptamer zinc–adenine metal‐organic framework (CD63@ZnMOF) captures and concentrates extracellular vesicles (EVs) from serum before transfer to a VCAM‑1 aptamer‑modified gold electrode. This dual‐aptamer design enables specific detection of VCAM‑1+CD63+ endothelial EVs without additional redox labelling probes.

Investigation and Evaluation of Wax Deposition Treatment Methods in Large Natural Gas Plants

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 14, Issue 8, Page 3848-3861, August 2026.
Problem: Wax blockage (Biphenyl, PAHs) in low‐temperature units crippled plant capacity. Solution: A novel Circulating Light Hydrocarbon Injection technology. Mechanism: Light hydrocarbons disrupt wax crystals via “like dissolves like” and are continuously recovered. Outcome: 1. Throughput dropped from 10 MMscmd to 3 MMscmd 2.

Anti-fouling membranes by manipulating surface wettability and their anti-fouling mechanism

Desalination, 2017
This study aims to compare the anti-wetting and anti-fouling surface behavior in membrane distillation (MD) by two surface modification routes on porous polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membranes. A superhydrophobic membrane (SiO-PFTS/PVDF) was obtained by dynamically forming 1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctyl trichlorosilane containing SiO nanoparticles on the ...

An Anti-Fouling Airway Stent

2022 Design of Medical Devices Conference, 2022
Abstract Airway stents are used to keep airways open for those patients symptomatic from tracheobronchial disease. Tracheobronchial disease or central airway obstruction (CAO) can occur with benign or malignant disease, or complications from lung transplantation. Although stents can offer symptomatic relief for CAO, complications such as
