Features of relay protection function in distributed traction power supply systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Впровадження альтернативних джерел електричної енергії у систему тягового електропостачання розподіленого типу підвищує енергетичну ефективність та надійність функціонування, але при цьому змінюється характер протікання енергообмінних процесів, що ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

An Optimization-Based Intentional Islanding Scheme for Service Restoration in Distribution Systems Considering Anti-Parallel Operation of Distributed Generations

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
An islanding operation of distributed generations (DGs) in emergencies due to a fault in distribution systems can be a means of power supply for important loads in outage areas by facilitating the self-sufficient capability of DGs forming microgrids ...

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

A Nondestructive Islanding Detection Method Based on Adaptive and Periodic Disturbance on Reactive Power Output of Inverter-Based Distributed Generation

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
In order to detect islanding nondestructively, an islanding detection method for microgrid is proposed based on adaptive and periodic disturbance on the reactive power output of inverter-based distributed generation (DG).

An Anti-Islanding Protection for VSM Inverters in Distributed Generation

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Power Electronics, 2020
Virtual synchronous machine (VSM) technology is an attractive control method for an inverter-based distributed generation (DG) due to having the voltage, and frequency support functionality. Embedding an anti-islanding protection (AIP) scheme with a high

Suitability of Local Islanding Detection Methods for Grid-Connected Inverter in Multi-Distributed Generation

open access: yesRMUTL Engineering Journal, 2023
The research paper presents a suitability of local islanding detection methods for grid-connected inverter in multi-distributed generation, and possible usage of local techniques for an anti-islanding condition, which is caused by the ever-increasing ...

Islanding detection in three-phase and single-phase systems using pulsating high-frequency signal injection [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
This paper analyzes the use of pulsating high-frequency signal injection for islanding detection purposes. Active islanding detection using high-frequency signal injection is an appealing option due to its reduced nondetection zone, reduced cost, and ...

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...
