Association of Endometrioma Size with Serum Anti-mullerian Hormone

open access: yesJournal of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, 2022
To evaluate the relationship between the size of endometrioma and serum Anti-mullerian hormone (AMH).A Descriptive study. This study was conducted at the Bagcilar Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey, from January 2015 to January 2020.Healthy women of reproductive age, who were found to have unilateral endometrioma in ultrasonography, were ...

Can delivery mode influence future ovarian reserve? Anti-Mullerian hormone levels and antral follicle count following cesarean section: a prospective cohort study

open access: yesJournal of Ovarian Research, 2019
Background The incidence of Cesarean has increased in recent years. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of cesarean section on ovarian reserve. This is a prospective cohort study from January 2016 to November 2017.

IGF‐1 Deficiency Serves as an Integrated Biomarker Pathogenic Driver and Predictor in Poor Ovarian Response

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
IGF‐1 deficiency underlies poor ovarian response (POR), as reduced levels in follicular fluid and granulosa cells impair antral follicle formation and compromise reproductive outcomes. Including IGF‐1 as a biomarker significantly enhances the accuracy of models predicting both PORrisk and pregnancy success.

Ovarian Reserve Assessment among Healthy Women Using Hormonal Contraceptives Baghdad, Iraq

open access: yesAl-Mustansiriyah Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Background: A woman's ovarian reserve and fertility may be affected by the long-term use of hormonal contraception. Anti-Mullerian hormone levels, the best available measure of ovarian reserve, were reduced by hormonal contraceptives methods, and were ...

Serum antimüllerian hormone levels best reflect the reproductive decline with age in normal women with proven fertility: A longitudinal study [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Objective: The aim of this study was to assess which of the basal ovarian reserve markers provides the best reflection of the changes occurring in ovarian function over time (i.e., reproductive aging). Design: Prospective longitudinal study.

SIRT5–RAC2 Axis Drives Monocyte‐to‐Macrophage Differentiation to Promote Inflammatory Injury in Premature Ovarian Insufficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SIRT5 desuccinylates and stabilizes RAC2, activating CSF1R‐dependent signaling to drive monocyte differentiation into M0 macrophages and their polarization toward pro‐inflammatory M1 phenotypes in CTX‐induced premature ovarian insufficiency. Inhibiting the SIRT5‐RAC2 axis attenuates inflammation, reduces granulosa cell apoptosis, and preserves ...

Determining the timeline of gonadal and genital differentiation in male and female equine fetuses allows for early detection and intervention in malformations

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Sexual differentiation in the equine fetus involves coordinated morphogenetic processes that shape both the gonads and the genital ducts. Although the formation of testes and ovaries has been relatively well documented, the temporal dynamics and morphometric patterns of the mesonephric (Wolffian) and paramesonephric (Müllerian) ducts remain ...
