Multidimensional Profiling of MRI‐Negative Temporal Lobe Epilepsy Uncovers Distinct Phenotypes

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Although hippocampal sclerosis (TLE‐HS) represents the most frequent cause of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE), up to 30% of patients show no lesion on visual MRI inspection (TLE‐MRIneg). These cases pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges and are underrepresented in surgical series.

Low Incidence of Relapses After Vaccination in Anti‐Aquaporin‐4 Antibody‐Positive NMOSD

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Patients with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) may experience increased signs and symptoms of their underlying disease when vaccinated against meningococcal disease before receiving complement component 5 inhibitor therapies. This retrospective analysis indicated an overall low relapse incidence (mean [range], 3.3% [0.7%–10.6 ...

Fractional differential inclusions with anti-periodic boundary conditions in Banach spaces.

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2014
Summary: Consider for boundary value problems of differential inclusions with fractional order and with anti-periodic boundary conditions in Banach spaces. We prove existence theorems under both convexity and nonconvexity conditions on the multivalued side. Additionally, the compactness of the solution set is also established.

Elevated Connectivity During Language Processing Is Associated With Cognitive Performance in SeLECTS

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Self‐Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS) is associated with language impairments despite seizures originating in the motor cortex, suggesting aberrant cross‐network interactions. Here we tested whether functional connectivity in SeLECTS during language tasks predicts language performance.

ALDOA Promotes Glycolysis and NLRP3/GSDMD Pyroptosis to Accelerate ALS Progression

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is characterized by progressive motor neuron degeneration. Glycolytic dysregulation is implicated in disease progression, yet the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study investigates how Aldolase A (ALDOA) drives ALS progression through glycolysis‐mediated motor neuron pyroptosis.

SEQUENTIAL FRACTIONAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH PARAMETRIC TYPE ANTI-PERIODIC BOUNDARY CONDITIONS

open access: yesJournal of Applied Analysis & Computation
Summary: We discuss the existence and uniqueness of solutions for sequential fractional differential equations supplemented with parametric type anti-periodic boundary conditions. We make use of fixed point theorems due to Krasnosel'skiĭ and Banach to obtain the desired results. Examples illustrating the obtained results are presented.
