Large mode area double-layer all-solid anti-resonant fiber for high-power fiber lasers
A novel double-layer all-solid anti-resonant fiber (DL-AAF) is proposed to develop large mode area (LMA) fiber for high-power fiber laser applications. Single-mode property and mode field area scaling are investigated in simulations. Numerical results show the fiber can achieve strong suppression of higher order modes (HOMs) even with a large core size.
